Rallies across California decry high-education funding cut.
In a word, bad. The state’s priorities aren’t going to change without enormous pressure from those of us who are being most hurt by them. March 2 is the second annual Day of Action to Defend Public Education, and we will again be working with the district to schedule “disaster drills” (as in: the state budget is a disaster) in all the schools. (More information to follow.)
Effective Teaching Task Force Listening Sessions: “Teachers Talking to Teachers”
You’ll be ask to brainstorm ideas around three topics:
1) Evidence of student learning
2) Building a professional growth system
3) Essential supports and conditions for effective teaching.
